Order Confirmation
Once your order is placed, you’ll receive an immediate confirmation email. This confirms we’ve received your order and pre-authorized your payment.
We then:
• Confirm availability or production scheduling with the manufacturer
• Verify lead times
• Begin freight coordination
If an item is temporarily unavailable, we’ll contact you promptly before proceeding.
Processing & Production Timelines
Because our products vary significantly in size and handling requirements, timelines differ by category.
Sauna Heaters & Chillers
Processing Time: 1–2 weeks
Transit Time: 5–10 business days once shipped
These items ship via ground or LTL freight depending on size. You’ll receive tracking information once the shipment leaves the warehouse.
Massage Chairs

Processing Time: 2–3 weeks
If a specific colour is temporarily out of stock: 3–5 weeks
Delivery Includes:
• Room-of-choice placement standard on all models
• White glove delivery included on all orders over $7,500
White glove service includes in-home placement, full setup, testing, and packaging removal.
Costway Massage Chairs
Processing Time: 1–3 weeks
Standard Delivery Includes:
• Driveway or garage drop-off (ground floor only)
• No room-of-choice placement included
White glove service may be available for an additional charge depending on location. Please contact us prior to ordering for a custom quote.
Saunas & Cold Plunge Tubs
Estimated Production Timeline: 4–12 weeks
All saunas and cold plunge tubs are custom built to order. Production timelines vary depending on model, cedar selection, size, and seasonal demand.
For the most accurate build date, we encourage you to contact us for a current production window.
Once production is complete, transit begins immediately.
Standard Freight Delivery Includes:
• Delivery to your driveway or curbside
• Liftgate service where required
• Scheduled delivery appointment arranged directly with the carrier
The freight company will contact you in advance to coordinate delivery.
Please note: Freight delivery does not include placement into your backyard, assembly, or packaging removal. Due to the size and weight of these products, customers are responsible for arranging any necessary equipment or assistance to move the crate from the driveway to its final installation location.
We strongly recommend confirming site access and preparing your installation area prior to delivery.
Great Lakes Hot Tubs & Swim Spas
Estimated Timeline: 3–6 weeks
These units are either in stock or built within a shorter production window.
Delivery Includes:
• Driveway or curbside freight delivery
• Scheduled delivery appointment
• Liftgate service when available
Due to their size and weight, hot tubs and swim spas will be delivered in a crate or on a pallet at the end of your driveway. Placement into the final installation location is not included.
Customers are responsible for arranging appropriate equipment (such as a crane, forklift, or professional movers) if required for final positioning.
White glove placement services may be available in certain regions. Please contact us to discuss options prior to purchase.
Site Preparation Guidelines (Saunas, Hot Tubs & Cold Plunges)
Proper site preparation ensures safe installation, long-term performance, and warranty compliance.
Before delivery, please ensure the following:
1. Level & Stable Base Required
Your foundation must be:
• Completely level
• Structurally sound
• Able to support the full weight of the unit (including occupants and water where applicable)
• Slightly sloped toward the rear for proper drainage (for saunas)
Recommended base options:
• Concrete pad
• Reinforced wood deck
• Crushed stone base (properly compacted)
• Patio stone or paver blocks
We recommend building the base slightly larger than the footprint of your sauna or spa to allow space for access and cooling.
2. Access Pathway
Ensure:
• Clear access from driveway to final installation area
• Adequate width for the crate to pass through gates or between structures
• No overhead obstructions (for crane placements where required)
If special equipment (crane, forklift, spa dolly) is required for placement, this must be arranged in advance by the customer.
3. Electrical Requirements
All electric saunas, sauna heaters, hot tubs, and swim spas must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Electrical must be:
• Installed prior to or shortly after delivery
• In compliance with local building codes
• Properly grounded and protected
Failure to use a licensed electrician may void manufacturer warranties.
4. Drainage & Water Management
For hot tubs, swim spas, and cold plunges:
• Ensure adequate drainage around the installation area
• Avoid low-lying areas prone to water pooling
• Confirm access to a proper water source
Electrical Installation Requirement
For safety and warranty compliance, all electrically powered saunas, electric sauna heaters, hot tubs, and swim spas must be installed by a licensed electrician.
Proper electrical installation is required to ensure safe operation and maintain manufacturer warranty coverage.
Delivery Day Expectations
• Someone must be present at the time of delivery to accept and inspect the shipment
• Please inspect packaging carefully before signing
• Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt
• If severe damage is present, refuse the shipment
If concealed damage is discovered after delivery:
• Take clear photos immediately
• Email general@summitspaessentials.ca within 24 hours
• We will coordinate resolution directly with the carrier and manufacturer
International Orders
Our products are designed and certified for Canadian electrical standards. International orders are handled on a case-by-case basis and require custom shipping quotes.
